A l’ouest du champ o\u00f9 tr\u00f4ne le menhir de Goarivan, pos\u00e9e sur un talus, \u00e0 cinq m\u00e8tres tout au plus de la fontaine, se trouve cette croix. Il est fort \u00e0 parier que l’on doit cet emplacement \u00e0 Monsieur Guiavarc’h, appel\u00e9 l’Amiral. La croix se tenait de fa\u00e7on \u00ab\u00a0provisoire\u00a0\u00bb sur la fontaine. Elle a retrouv\u00e9 sa place initiale, sur le talus. C’est avec un grand soin que l’Amiral nettoya durant de longues ann\u00e9es les abords de son domaine de Kastell a Ran. Malheureusement, l’homme ne peut plus entretenir ce qu’il y a quelques temps \u00e9tait un havre pour qui aimait \u00e0 se promener dans ce secteur. Pour la sortir d’un oubli qui aurait pu lui \u00eatre pr\u00e9judiciable, il a fallu se \u00ab\u00a0battre\u00a0\u00bb. Il est a penser qu’elle se m\u00e9rite. Les ronces ont en effet envahi le terrain. Grace \u00e0 la perspicacit\u00e9 des voisins et au gr\u00e9 des conversations il a \u00e9t\u00e9 facile de la situer afin qu’elle puisse enfin appara\u00eetre dans notre inventaire.<\/td>\n

La croix a quitt\u00e9 son talus lors de l’\u00e9largissement de la route. Le f\u00fbt est tr\u00e8s court, les bras sont in\u00e9gaux et offrent une dissym\u00e9trie \u00e0 l’ensemble. La calotte sph\u00e9rique en son centre en fait un mod\u00e8le unique. Pos\u00e9e sur une pierre, elle offre un ensemble harmonieux au milieu des fleurs et des plantes offertes par dame nature mais \u00e9galement par les habitants du hameau.<\/td>\n
